To keep a long story sort of short, while in Europe last year, we stumbled upon this type of bike at the pre-school of a family member. We were amazed to see the kids gliding along as if they were riding regular bikes. They all looked so comfortable, and the benefits were obvious. All we could think was "what a concept", and "why don't kids ride these in the US?". We are a biking family. My husband is an avid bike enthusiast and our kids ride bikes every day. I thought this would be a fun product to be involved with. So from that point on I was on a mission not only to find one of these bikes for my kids, but also to find a way to make them available in our area. Eventually, we were able to order a balance bike for our then two year old. Although after a short time on it, he was able to ride a regular two-wheeler pedal bike (yes, at age two and a half), he still loves his strider bike and wants to ride it often. In fact, his older brother of five and a half gets a kick out of it as well and they fight over it regularly.
Not long after, I was approached with an opportunity that has blossomed into a small fun family business, called Little Rollers, that we all enjoy participating in together!
